Ian joined the team in 2025 and works with the partners at LangtonHudson on a wide range of employment law matters. Ian’s background in criminal and family law has developed his advocacy skills and taught him the importance of tailoring each case to meet the specific goals of the client.

Ian has a professional interest in medical law (including medical incapacity) in the employment context. He works alongside Emma Crowley on drug and alcohol testing issues and continues to develop his expertise in this area.

Ian regularly assists on advisory matters and has supported with disputes in the Employment Relations Authority and Human Rights Review Tribunal. He has appeared in the District and Family Court.
