Emma supervises a large advisory practice where she helps clients with everyday employment issues and more complex legal matters. Her experience in human resources gives her a strong understanding of what clients need, so her advice is always practical and personalised.
She has a professional interest in ACC matters and drug and alcohol testing within the employment context. She also heads the firm’s insurance employment disputes practice.
Emma has significant experience representing both employers and employees in mediation, has undertaken litigation in the Employment Relations Authority, and assisted on cases in the Employment Court and Human Rights Review Tribunal.
Emma regularly presents seminars to clients and the profession, and is invited to speak on panels in respect of both women in law and breast cancer advocacy.
