Kyle advises on a range of employment issues, including business restructures, performance management processes, personal grievances, and redundancies. He also has a particular interest in the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

Prior to joining LangtonHudson, Kyle was a corporate lawyer where he advised local and international clients on corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganisations.

  • Advising employers on the negotiation and management of senior executive exits.
  • Advising a global ride-sharing company on the employee/contractor status of its New Zealand drivers.
  • Advising purchasers and sellers in relation to multiple hotel transactions, including the transfer of ‘vulnerable’ employees.
  • Advising The Starship Foundation on a pro bono basis on its contractual arrangements with corporate sponsorship partners, supporters, and service providers.*
  • Advising International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. on the New Zealand aspects of its global reorganisation and sale of its pharma solutions business to Roquette S.A. for an enterprise value of US$2.85billion.*
